Pride Paddle

A community-centered paddle celebrating Pride Month through movement, connection, and shared moments on the Chicago River.

Celebrating community on the water

Pride Paddle was created as a shared experience centered around visibility, inclusion, and connection during Pride Month in Chicago.

Starting from Ping Tom Park, participants paddle together along the South Branch of the Chicago River in a welcoming environment designed to celebrate community, presence, and belonging on the water.

More than just a kayak event, Pride Paddle is about creating space for people to come together, move together, and experience the city from a different perspective while sharing an atmosphere rooted in openness, support, and collective energy.

The experience is intentionally approachable and beginner-friendly, making it accessible for participants of all experience levels.

Because Pride is not only about celebration. it’s about connection, visibility, and being part of something together.

"Had a great time on the river! Staff were super friendly and informative. The equipment was great and the views from the park and river can't be beat. We're excited to come back and do a tour with them!"
